LESSONS
Our store provides lessons in all ranges and types of music with qualified instructors. Please view our "about us" section to meet our instructors.
Lessons are $10 per each half hour, and your lesson is held once a week. Your scheduled lesson is the same time and day of the week each week, with the same instructor. Lessons are paid monthly in advance at a total of $40. Lessons missed due to illness or early call-off do carry over. Should lessons be cancelled due to work, sports, school activities, etc., you are reimbursed any unused and previously paid lessons. We do not follow a school schedule, therefore, you will be notified when classes are cancelled.
Students are required to bring their instrument (with the exception of drums), their necessary lesson book, notebook, and pencil to each lesson. Parents are encouraged to join their child's lesson, and take active participate in their learning.
LESSON SCHEDULES
Guitar and Bass lessons are held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Piano lessons are held Tuesdays.
Percussion lessons are held Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Vocal lessons are held Tuesdays.
Brass and Woodwind available dates will be announced.

RENTALS
We take part in one of the finest Band Instrument rental programs in the United States. You can be rest assured that you and your child will be completely satisified with any of our trumpets, clarinets, trombones, flutes, drum kits, bell kits, alto saxophones, or tenor saxophones. Each rental is a top quality, name-brand New or Like New instrument that comes with a maintenance and service plan.
Independent studies conducted by renowned educators throughout the country have shown that children involved in musical programs perform significantly better in math, English, and social studies and exhibit more desirable behavior than children who have not participated in musical programs.
11 Point Plan
1) Rental payments apply toward the purchase of the instrument.

4) Maintenance and service plan is included in each rental with no deductible (mistreatment is exempt).

6) Each instrument is covered by a Limited Damage Waiver and Limited Fire / Burglary Waiver, both with no
deductible.
7) All rentals are name brand instruments in New or Like-New condition, with a warranty.
8) Authenticity of new instruments is guaranteed.
9) Planned Educational and Motivational Mailings to parents to encourage and strengthen parental interest in your
child's musical endeavor.
10) Exchange options are included in the rental program.

REPAIRS - BAND INSTRUMENTS
Repairs to band instruments are done off-site with Sid Marlin of ADVANCED MUSIC SERVICES, member of NAPBIRT. Free estimates are given on all repairs, if requested. Instruments can be dropped off at The Music Center, or to Sid Marlin directly at 472 Gillmer Road (Leavittsburg). Contact The Music Center at (330) 652-1300 or Sid Marlin at (330) 898-4114.
Services
Playing Condition = will do whatever is necessary to put the instrument in good playing condition.
Chemical Clean = applies to all brass instruments and includes disassembly, chemical cleaning of the inside and outside of the body, valves, slides, and caps. Springs will be replaced where necessary. Rotors will be restrung and corks and felts will be replaced. The instrument will then be lubricated, reassembled, adjusted, and tested.
Repad = applies to all woodwind instruments and include complete disassembly with thorough cleaning of the body and keys, and normal refacing of tone holes. All pads and necessary corks and felts will be replace. The instrument will then be lubricated, reassembled, adjusted, and tested.
Overhaul = includes a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration, except refinishing of lacquered or plated parts. All parts will be refitted to usually better than factory standards. All metal parts are polished to a high lustre, then assembled to the instrument with premium quality pads, corks, felts, glues, and lubricants.

REPAIRS - GUITARS
Repairs to guitars are done here in our store, and usually done within 48 hours. Free estimates are given, and you'll be quite happy with our low prices and expert work! However we do know our limitations, therefore if a repair is needed that we don't feel confident on, we will refer you to someone that you will be just as satisfied with.
Services
Basic Set-Up = includes truss rod and / or bridge saddle adjustments, as well as setting the correct intonation on adjustable bridge guitars. Adjusting and balancing Floyd Rose and Fender-type tremolo systems will be done when necessary. Includes cleaning of the body and neck of the guitar.
Minor Electronic Repairs = trace down and repair faulty wires and solder joints. Replace pots, switches, pickups, and jacks when necessary. Includes tuning and cleaning of the body and neck of the guitar.
Minor Fretwork = reseating and crowning. Includes tuning and cleaning of the body and neck of the guitar.
Restringing = includes restringing and tuning of the guitar, as well as cleaning of the body and neck.
